Chevys – Classic Radio Control Models and More

As far as selection goes, there are about as a lot of RC automobiles as there are versions of the real point, and possibly even much more. Take for instance the Chevy. There is no lack of RC versions offered if you go for the classics in this arena; or for their sports automobile line, like the Chevy Corvette.

&#thirteen;

Chevy RCs are undoubtedly more for the collector than the racer, unless you customized-make your RC racer to have the system of a Chevy, that is. Let’s get a appear at some of the a lot more well-liked Chevy RCs:

Muscle Machines 1957 Chevrolet

This arrives in fairly huge at a one:8 scale and is really a classic. Equipment integrated are the charger, battery pack, and functions functioning headlights, a decidedly thorough interior, custom wheels, and super glossy paint. Regular price tag is among -. Other Chevy Muscle Machine versions obtainable are the 71 Camaro and the Camaro Z28, also in one:8 scale and similarly priced to the 1957 Chevrolet.

1969 Chevy Camaro Z28 RC Electric Car

Produced by Playmaker Toys, this 1969 Camaro product is made at a one:18 scale and features functioning head and tail lights, and is a four-purpose vehicle (as in ahead, backward, left, and proper). This is certainly for the genuine Chevy collectors out there, and at -, it is not a undesirable deal at all.

&#thirteen;

1998 Chevrolet Corvette GTS IR Management Mini RC Car

&#thirteen;

For the mini RC fans out there, this Chevy is for you. It capabilities a body that is all metal, racing tires manufactured of rubber, and a miniature Corvette engine. The remote handle wristwatch doubles as just that, a watch, and the mini RC car itself claims to mimic every little thing that its true nemesis does; this is most likely since General Motors by itself is said to have licensed this baby as a genuine one:32 mini RC. This has a MSRP of .95 to .95 but can be bought at much less than fifty percent that price tag at many online hobby merchants.

&#thirteen;

Chevy truck versions are also available as RCs – this kind of as the Chevy SSR RC Truck and the Chevy 4×4 Monster Truck. Regular prices for RC trucks are a little around , but if you’re fortunate, some websites have them on sale for as considerably as 50% off.

Several Chevy proprietors who have at a single stage in their lives owned a classic are thrilled when they find design RCs that resemble the extremely autos they once owned. So, no matter whether you’re just a beginning collector of classics, or if you’re a seasoned collector hunting to expand your line of autos, then the Chevy is definitely the way to go.

    Heathkit AJ-21 High Fidelity tube AM Tuner

    I forgot I had this thing until I was rearranging my shelves of equipment. It’s from the early ’60s, and has extremely heavy (for its size) solid metal construction, designed to look like a car radio of the time. It’s just a tuner, not a complete radio, so I ran it through the tape input of my Kenwood receiver/amp. It has a bandwidth switch, but you can’t really hear the difference due to the limited frequency response of my camcorder’s microphone. The tuner is all original, including the tubes and capacitors, and works fine, but it could probably use a realignment because the sensitivity drops off noticeably above 1200 kHz (at least using the included loopstick antenna), and the whistle notch filter that is supposed to be centered at 10 kHz actually has the notch at 10.7 kHz so it’s not really effective at silencing adjacent carrier whistles.

    1970 Triumph Bonneville Custom Chopper Bobber Board Track For Sale 07-25-10

    1970 Triumph Bonneville T120 Custom Chopper / Bobber (advertised locally, I reserve the right to end auction at anytime if the reserve is not met) Custom Built Vintage Style chopper with a sort of bobber, board track style, draws a crowd everywhere it goes, everyone loves the bike, and takes pictures of it. I build Hot Rods, bikes and do a lot of metal art work, and I think a major part of building is getting the stance right and other visuals right. Tires, colors, types of metals (brass, coppers, chromes, etc. ) must all work together, flow together and not look like a bunch of aribtrary pieces bolted on. This bike sits just right and everything on it works visually well together. Lots of custom parts, custom gas tank with patina look paint made with a 60′s feel, it looks great, I made it looked aged with some deliberate crackling, it has a great custom look, it has dusted in gold flake over black, pinstriped old school scallop front, patterned spotting (old doily method) with an early 60′s Speedboat gas cap, clear fuel line fuel sight gauge True hardtail frame, right side Jockey Shift with 2 shift knobs (one glass door knob – 1 NYCity Public School Door Knob), right foot rear brake. No front brake (it has the caliper bracket if you want to add one later) hardcore old school, but works well on this bike. Super easy to ride and shift, very natural motion. I built this bike to be fun and easy to ride and it is. It’s real low and lean, steering is nice and light. 650cc
