radline 4×4 rc truck

having some fun with a radline rc truck i just got a fewdays ago. not to bad for a little truck thats about the size of a rat. 4×4 actualy works great in grassy and rocky areas. this grassy area actualy stopped the truck in its track getting tangled around the wheels. i took it to a ball field in windcrest city park to skid around the sand. near the end some sand got into the rear gearbox in between two parts of the teeth. took it apart and got it all cleaned. i now put a battery that would last longer than 30 minutes. at least more than an hour.

This was a pedal powered trike. I had some spare gearboxes from a previous powerwheels toy. A couple hours one afternoon and now this thing is powered. Running off a 7.2v NiMH 3300Mah battery pack at the moment.

my scratch built submarine based on the Disney film. only thing not made by me are the servo, (ebay knockoffs) the RX board (came from a toy car) and the gearbox and propeller. sealed with spar uerethane. final test before sealing up the hull.
