1-25 Scale. Length: 9″ Parts: 157. The 1959 Cadillac Eldorado Biarritz convertible was one of the most flamboyant creations of the 50′s era. It pioneered new luxury features such as cruise control and air suspension. This was the year the rocket type tail fins reached their peak with bullet like taillights plus an extreme wraparound windshield and tons of chrome. Detailed tri carburetor 390 cubic inch V-8 engine with air condition compressor and air compressor for air suspension. Revell – 1/8 scale ’65 Corvette In-box review

Seems I only do these reviews on cold mornings. Last time it was 38 degrees, this time it’s 35! So I couldn’t quite control the shaking. But I hope you get a good look at it. 1/8 scale is not very common and as much as you might think these kits would have rediculous detail like a Pocher kit, they don’t. Only about 170 very large parts. A Pocher kit would have like 500 or more. But it’s a good place to start if you want to go for rediculous aftermarket detail. Or if you just don’t see good and need large parts. Kinda like large print. It does appear well molded as you can see. Good kit. Back in the 80′s Monogram issued this one and about 5 others in this scale. ’87 Camaro, ’86 Corvette, ’65 Corvette, ’6? Jaguar XKE, Golden T, and some 1/12 scale. I have a catalog I could share. Wouldn’t that be boring. lol.

(Slotcars) 1/32 Laguna Seca track 1

Some footage of construction and first running session on my new 1/32 slotcar track representing the famous “Laguna Seca” raceway in Monterrey California. The track is not a super accurate model, but has some of the feel of the real track, including the famous “corkscrew” turn and downhill run which is really fun and challenging ! The track is constructed the same way as the previous track, insulation foam base, and actual track made from poster board and cut to shape, also includes a scalextric timing / scoring section to keep time, fastest lap so far is 6.9s and is held by the slot.it Alfa Romeo 33. My Dad was lucky enough !!!!! to go to the Can-am races in the 60′s, and took me to see the FIA GT and ALMS series 1998-2001, so I wanted to bring back the memories ! Some more racing footage will be added in time. Enjoy !
