  thank you mate for your good comments.i use 19t pinion and the stock 86t spur.if you use brushless system you should use this gear.

  I have over 250 runs on my xbr sport 8.5 and i still runs great. With no maintnience except for oil on bearings and an occasional blast of air. it went from my bandit,to my rustler,to my stampede,to my b44 and now to my t4. I love novak i dont know why people go mamba

  Hey guys i am as new to this sport as you can be. I am thinking of getting a rustler from a friend (cheap, he owes me), Its stock (no upgrades). Whats the top speed? how long does the battery last? Is this a good choice.

  hi mate.rustler is the one of the best rc car you can get.if its xl-1 top speed is around 27 mph with 7 cell battery.if it the xl-5 the its around 30 mph with 7 cell battery.i play about 15-20 min with a 4200 7 cell battery.

  well worth gettin, a good batt will last bout 20 mins. get a 7 cell battery to make the most of it(only if its xl5 version. top speed with optional gears and 7 cell is 35 but out of the box on 7 cells it bout 28

  now its in a tc3 and works great still. Starting to notice little less top end but heck with over 275 runs cant complain. Im thinking of putting the sintered rotor kit

  Look I love the Video and that is great and helpful for me cause I am getting a novak XBR 8.5 for my Rustler and running gp3300 mah.

  BUT you should only replay stuff at the most once! it gets boring watching something 3 times!
